Default Fishing in PJs? Why not!

First let me make it clear that they DID have snow suits on over their jammies, but as soon as the shack warmed up, the girls were fishing in their PJs!

The girls had the day off school and I had the day off work, so after breakfast we all headed out to see what the fishing was like.

I really wasn't expecting much and I am not a huge fan of mid - day fishing ( I prefer morning or late afternoon ) and I was right to start with - it was very slow for the first hour and a half, only two small pike.

Then at about 1:00 - BAM! The fishing cranked up! We had a pretty consistent bite for about an hour, very entertaining as we had a couple double headers even. Ended up taking three keepers home.

Sure love fishing with my daughters, glad we went today, even if they were too lazy this morning to get dressed properly........

Nice Kids and fish! LOL! The ice fishing cabins you rent do they have a cot in them? I'd like to go up there one weekend and try the fishing!

Hey Stryker, unfortunately no, I am only doing day rentals this winter. I have an overnighter with fold down bunks, but I ran out of time to get it ready for this winter, didn't have time to get it set up. I'll be getting it ready and available for next season.

Good on you for getting them out! Good times...My son thinks he's Hugh Hefner on his days off from school, would rather wear his robe all day than get dressed.
