Wild Rose Party Facebook page?

So I thought I would check out their FB page and a pop-up requesting access to all my FB info plus my Friends list appears. Naturally, I canceled the action, but what the hell is that? Why not have their page public?

The Wildrose Party has a YouTube page and a Twitter page, but to my knowledge, we do not have a complete up-and-running Facebook page yet.

Thanks, Mac...I thought maybe they were afraid to subject themselves to negative posts, kinda like what is happening on Prentice's page!

I see the NDP and the Alberta Party have well-established pages...

I guess they are all too busy! Prentice's page never has any replies either. You would think they would have some volunteer Facebookers on the bus...

Actually, that's ^ often not such a good idea. 'Volunteers' have been known to get candidates in a lot of trouble ... especially when dealing with media!

I sent him a private message via his personal page and got a response within 20 minutes. Solidified my vote, actually.

I find it interesting that the folks who are posting highly negative comments, to the point of insulting PC supporters who post, on the PC and Prentice pages are not to be found on the websites of the leaders they supposedly support, such as Notley and Jean. Voicing an opinion is one thing, but these folks are making it their mission to attack those few of us brave enough to try and say something supportive. There seems to be virtually no anti-NDP or anti-Wildrose sentiments on either of those parties' pages, and virtually no disagreement. I find that a bit odd, but maybe I am missing something...one would think some NDP supporters would be spewing hate-filled comments on the WR page, and vice versa.

If the Wildrose Party wants to be taken seriously, one of the first things they need to do is get on Facebook. Some may disagree but Facebook is very influential and can be used to support the Wildrose with minimal expense.
