Darn! With all that reference to dinosaurs, I was hopeing that they would give a good estimate as to how old that Marlin was. Say it was about 10 lbs. when it was 2 years old. If it gained 25 lbs. a year your looking at a 50 yr. old fish? Even so, I'm guesstimating that old boy was 70 yrs. old. Amassing catch.

The article says it was estimated at up to 26 years old, was almost 14' long and the boat was only 21' long.......and it's only the 8th largest ever caught in Hawaii.
