Same here, I just watched that movie when he goes to medical college. Patch Adams I think it's called.
Some memorable sayings there too mac!

Absolutely insane laughter followed that man wherever he went - all he had to do was open his yap!
I will never forget his and Johnathon Winter's interview with Barbara Walters .
They started improving off each other and I do believe it is the only time she ever lost control of an interview!
I don't think he ever made a movie I didn't like........

Nennoo nennoo ¥

I remember the Mork action figure and space egg. My GI joes always captured him first!

I watched a great documentary on Robin a while back, and still have his comedy skits on cd in my camping collection. He was one of the greats!

Only movie he was in that I didn't care for, was Worlds Greatest Dad.
Cant name another actor that in my opinion only had one bad movie.

My older sister & I loved Mork & Mindy, both Robin and Jonathon Winters sure translated really well to the kids we were at the time. There was so much good stuff going on in that brain of his, it's truly a shame that the bad stuff also going on in there led him to take his own life.

I loved his stand up stuff. When I was in high school, I had one of his vinyl albums ()....'The Throbbing Python of Love'. I think my friends and I can still do the entire album verbatim.

''There are red wines, and there are white wines, but why are there no black wines? I can see it now! 'REGGIE! A real mo-fo! Goes with fish, meat, any damn thing it wants to! I like my wine, like I like my women. Ready to pass out"......

We laughed over that one so many times. To this day, we still call each other Reggie.

wow , just now reading that , I instantly hear his voice in my head saying that.

On a high school skiing to Sunshine , I got the driver to plug in my cassette to the bus ( nice big charter bus ) stereo system , and for the ride out , the whole bus ( including the driver ) was just howling .

It brings smiles to my face and sadness to my heart .

MacLeod , thank you for posting

His comedy is so missed. If you've never seen the interviews with Johnny Carson or Craig Ferguson, give them a watch. He controlled and dominated the interviews, but to see Johnny lose it on set was priceless.

Had the pleasure of seeing him live in Edmonton in the early 70s, before he was famous and quite a few times after he made it big. The man will never be rivalled. He was truly hilarious, tremendously smart and a great human being. His passing was a great loss but the body of work he left behind is a treasure for generations to enjoy.

What a crappy way to go!

Made a lot of people laugh, including me, especially his stand-ups on cocaine. Wasn't a very happy guy. Just goes to show you that Fame and Fortune does not buy happiness. R.I.P. R.W.

I liked him as well but two of my brothers committed suicide shortly before he did. I can`t see him with out thinking of them. What a hard dam place it must be to release yourself. I am getting married next weekend. I wish they were here for that.

Actually my favorite Robin Williams role, the Anarchist Bomber, even if he is uncredited. Hey, isn't that Robin Williams ?
