3 good coyotes today , had to use sled for first time to get to my snares . Long extension kept the hillside catch well off the trail and I was able to reset with very little disturbance to catch site .

Mouse
How is this for a unique picture? Don't lick cold steel when it is -35, it can be fatal!

My update
Great pics everyone. Love the mouse on the Chain. Many odd things when your out and about.
Here are some pics of my season. Work holidays and trapping has been keeping me at full throttle.
One of the first yotes of the year.
This one was tired of eating all the bait he was yawning
Couple more.
My friends garage is filling up
Some fur ready to go.
Seen this hole and trail in the snow by a slough
So I set a 120. Bam nice winter muskrat
A friend of mine s fur shed couple wolves on boards
Finally my brother and I and my buddy connected on a marten tough trapping up North this year.
Man I like these critters this one was a small female.
Here's our 2 week catch. Good thing I didn't quit my day job to go trapping but our trip was fun. Snagged a couple of cow elk for the freezer as well.
Good thing tchardy was taking care of business at home he picked up 17 yotes and I got 2 marten and one yote. Who won? Hahaha Happy trapping keep snagging those wolves and yotes. I'll post more season pics once I take them. Good luck.

Awesome photos everyone!
As for me, nothing exciting for you guys but I got my first squirrel today! Been a while since I have caught anything so that was good.
Also got a visitor at the box however he sprung the trap and got away. Shoot.
Hopefully I will connect with him soon enough. Hope everyone his having a good season!

Excellent photos, fellas.....thanks for posting.
What did the tracks look like leading to your pole set, Nick? I'm still wondering about the tracks that you posted up.

Thank you guys! I saw a track that was similar to the one in question and followed it to some shallow snow and it was in fact as squirrel, but it wasn't quite the same. Whatever it is, I put a 160 at the end of the trail so hopefully it will be around again.

Way to go Nick!
Getting that first one at a new location is always a thrill. I hope you get many more, and I'm bitting my nails wondering what made those tracks you posted.
I'm betting it's the same critter that left black fur in that box set of yours.
You'll get him sooner or later. Of that I have no doubt.

Finally remembered to snap a pic of this weeks catch before getting to work on them....also, a couple of my "junior" and his rat trapping adventures. Dont normally chase em this early, but my boy loves rat trapping so who am i to tell him no. Hes running a line of 6 120's with parsnip through the ice, lol. He loves the trapping and helping skin, but not too interested in fleshing. Alot like his dad
