Default PayPaI scam...

Got a couple of early morning emails from PayPaI....not PayPal, indicating a problem with my account, and wanting me to sign in, to a provided link. I googled PayPaI and discovered it was a scam, based out of Russia, with an identical-looking web page. BEWARE !!

BTW, I haven't used my PayPal account in years !

Label it a phishing scam from inside your email program. It then alerts others to what it is.

On anything like that I always check the web address for authenticity to whatever the company's normal url sequence looks like. With PayPal scams through I don't bother even checking because I don't have an account with them at all.

Yep, I get loads of these, and the email addresses they come from are always weird and not right. Sometimes the emails are quite convincing.

BUT... If you log into these using the links, I am sure you are just giving your Paypal username and password to people who are going to clean you out.

Bottom line, your Paypal account will almost never be limited and if it is, its still no big deal.

So dont fall for the clickbait. Its always a scam. If ever in doubt, log into the page from the official site, not some funky weird email.

I received 2 of these emails today. Both times I reported them as a fishing scam. I have never had a Paypal account.
