Default Provost Gun Show

I am not generally a big fan of gun shows. It has been my experience that they are a forum for gun venders to flog questionable merchandise to the public at hugly inflated prices. The Provost Gun Show 2016 is a notable exception. I stopped in at the show on.my way to visiting my grandkids. There were a couple of bottom feeder vender selling beat up rusty crap at ridiculous prices but thankfully only a few. The rest of the vendors had good quality stuff at fair prices. New stuff was priced at the going retail price or lower; used firearms at the going rate. Tons of powder projectiles and other reloading stuff. I picked up a NIB Ruger American at a huge savings relative to Cabelas. We'll worth attending. Kudos to those responsible.

I was debating going or not last night and this morning. At 10am I decided to go. It was a nice show and I enjoyed it. I ended up coming home with a 1981 Marlin 444s at a fair price.
I found the people there to be real friendly and easy to talk to.
