Chief Steer!!!!
What a suitable name - "the one that keeps trying". Do they know something about Trudeau that that rest of us don't?

Chief Steer makes sense -- but as the one who has no balls.

Not going after anyone. The right honorable mr Harper was just awesome. All respect. He did well for himself.
I only point out that this government has an opportunity to address matters he never could have.

Ok I see now, thought you were just bashing him like in your previous posts, thanks for clarifying.
It's interesting that new governments always seem to be able to do new innovative things right up until they need to think about reelection.

Think Chief Walking Eagle is more the truth and well suited for Justin Trudeau
plaque inscribed with his new Indian name - Walking Eagle.
A very proud and pleased Justin then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds..
A news reporter from CBC later asked one of the Indians how they came to select the new name given to Justin Trudeau .
Photo
They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of **** that it can no longer fly.

What makes you think Trudeau didn't have armed guards?

JT's going after the native vote, he can raise/create taxes all he wants and they don't care.

But the point was Harper continue the historical disrespect to First Nations. And he had no respect for it.

It's no surprise. Wouldn't you thank the guy that allowed you and your close circle to continue to squander millions of tax payer dollars from the very people you're supposed to represent? They, once again, don't have to be accountable to the tax payer or the band member living in squalor.

And that's the way I see it too. 9.6B$out of 53B$ to FN and they continue to hold their hand out to that pompous ass and he swallows as he sucks the money out of their pocket

The way I saw Harper's treatment of the FN's was that he was trying to get them to be fiscally responsible and personally accountable for their own success, now Prime Minister Born-to-Squander will repeal the transparency act and allow the corruption to flourish and grow, the general public will love him for it all while he sets the FN's back further yet. You can bet he'll be throwing more money their way and the left leaning public will eat it up as us 'righting historical wrongs' while Theresa Spence gets herself a new Cadillac and opens more offshore bank accounts. Sure things need major improvement with how FN's are treated, but I think Trudeaus one step forward will be followed by two steps back. The FN's need changes in how their self-governance is structured and they should get election cycles closer to what we consider normal. The nature of their short terms in office twists things with regard to how big projects are completed (and subsequently abandoned if someone else is elected). One is left to wonder if that was by design way back when their election terms were set? There's something to fix Mr Prime Minister......

Massive honour
Granting an outsider a headdress and name is a massive honour. Cannot be understated what an honour for Trudeau. Now whether he deserves it or not is an issue but that band thought he did and its a very special award.
The plight of our folks is not an easy matter to solve and so far it has been a disaster- huge amounts of money spend, hungry kids all over the pace, addiction problems almost beyond comprehension, soul destroying poverty, and many more problems. Not sure Trudeau has any more answers than Mr Harper or other folks but we sure need some changes- maybe this is the start. not a simple problem.
