Speaking of allergies, what about colognes and perfumes?

Would love hard and firm facts, as we all have strong opinions about this.
Pet raising is as controversial as parenting!!
Thanks in advance.
Hi Cooks4seven,
Where I live the following stores don't have "dogs welcome" signs posted but they do give out dog treats and/or dog water bowls are available so they must be welcome:
BMO
The Post Office
The liquor store
Patagonia
Valhalla Pure
The commercial tellers at the CIBC
One of the rental equipment stores and several hotels.
Speaking of hotels:

Last summer I was in Ontario and stopped at a Canadian Tire where the management had taped hand written signs on the front doors asking customers to please bring their dogs into the store rather than leaving them in their cars.....
Hope this helps.

I really think people taking their dogs everywhere is inconsiderate .
my son have allergies to pet hair and getting within a couple meters of a dog can cause his eyes to swell and his nose to run . not fair that his day should be ruined so some selfish person can have their dog with them 24/7 .
I wish some pet owners would be a little more considerate of others .
