Was just wondering if anyone has any pics of the goats that have been taken in the last few years in alberta or any info on sizes or numbers taken.

Do a search on goats.
There are a few members that have harvested Alberta goats the past two years.

There was a 50 6/8 nanny taken by a 12 year old hunter in 2007 in WMU400. Photo was in AO magazine a while back. That's the biggest one I've heard of. It was an unbelievable 11 or 12 inches long.

Good for him, nice to see the young guys out there! And them are some long horns. I have to admit that the longest goat that i guided for was a real old nanny that we had watched for a few years(hadnt had a kid in at least 2 years). She was right at 11". But didnt score well due to lack of weight.

So that was a nanny? I saw several pictures of that goat, and I know who's son shot it, but others were telling me it was a billy, but it sure looked like a large nanny. They hunted hard in a pile of snow for that goat.
I shot on in 400 in 2005, 48 and change.

Any pics or story to go with that? You are certainly one of the lucky few! Congrats by the way.
