Talking New Arrival.

Well my wife finally pulled the trigger (pun intended) and bought her first firearm. After a few trips to the range with me this year she decided that she'd like her own "22" so we did some shopping around and this is what she picked out.

Maybe with some practice and the right ammo she can make the rimfire challenge. I'm still working at it.

Nice choice...different. The Challenge is a bugger if there is any wind.

We may try tomorrow the wind can't be any worse than it was today. lol

It seems that going to the range has been a pretty consistent affair so far. Whenever we go it is:
Windy.
We see a moose or two on the way to the range.
There's hardly anybody there.

260 Rem -Have you eaten at the Loose Caboose, my wife wants to try it out?

Yes, that wind has been brutal. Those moose seem to be all over, and a couple of deer have been greeting members ar the gate recently. Haven't tried the Footloose Caboose but have been told the food is good. Limited days open and hours...think there is a sign at their gate.

No we got it off the shelf, although it sure looks very similar. We were looking at 22s and my wife liked the look and fit of the Savage BSEV so that's what we were thinking about getting. She didn't want to spend that much on a 22 though, so I kept looking for her hoping to find a used one. While searching I came across this model made by CZ so we found one locally for sale and picked it up, good news we got it cheaper than the BSEV.
