Default Millet Rings

Any opinions on the quality of Millet rings? I was thinking of putting them on a 7/08. Low recoil rifle so I'm not worried about slippage. Any concerns?

In the United States they sell Tikka T-3 Rifles with Millet rings, and I have heard only bad things about them.

They are junk! I don't know how else to say it.

If you want proof try them yourself.

I have used then in the past and they worked fine but it seems that the general consensus is that they are of lower quality than other options. I honestly don't know what problems others have had but I have certainly read of enough dissatisfaction with Millet rings.

Even though my experience was good I would go with a set of Burris Signature Zee rings for most anything I would use nowadays, no scope marks and good quality (plus MOA inserts if you think you may do some long range shooting.) The difference is price is so small, why risk a bad experience.

Just my thoughts.
