Default Want 1/2 pound of IMR4831?

I was given about 1/2 a can of IMR4831 (perhaps a fraction less) but have no use for it. So any 7mm/.300/.338 mag owners out there want it its yours.

I am in NW Edmonton if you want it, just stop by and collect.
Just send a PM.

Cheers

I'm sure lots of shooters would be happy to have half a pound of 4831 since it's a pretty common powder for hunting calibers.
I think it may be a tough to even give away though due to the natural suspiction that the powder may not be what you say it is. You got it from some one else in an unsealed container, right? So there's a risk that some one has put powder other than 4831 in that container and there's no way of telling the difference easily. For 15 bucks worth of power, I wouldn't take the risk that it is what it's advertised as.

Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not acusing you of anything, just that most reloaders are more carefull than to go using powder from an unknown source.

Bob,
You are totally correct! I was aware of this suspicison - its like buying a second hand climbing rope of which you know no history. Dodgy at best.

However the powder comes from a friend who is a very experienced precison/BR shooter and not someone to make mistakes like that, hence my trust. However you point is still valid and I understand any suspicion. I just dont need it, my only center fire right now is a .303 for which IMR4831 is unusable.

Cheers

I understand entirely, and again, I'm not judging.
