I use a Blackberry Curve, just as a phone, no data package.

Last phone I bought was an Iphone, because that was the thing to do.
My blackberry before that never did me wrong, and it was a nice compact shape. I liked it alot better.

It intrigues me that the Iphone still has such a large following, but I guess once one is tied into the Apple infrastructure, it is hard to get out of. Even though it is more expensive, and frankly, not better anymore.

I have been a heavy BB user the past 7 years, 5 for work. I send and recieve about 100 emails/day and only use it as a phone.
I used a 9900 Bold for almost 5 years that was indestructable and for my purposes outstanding.
finally got a new Classic, and while by new Smartphone standards it's tough, it doesn't do what I want even close to as well as my bold.

I am a huge BB fan. Simply because in my experience, the phones are of higher quality. I am hard on them every day, dropping, crushing, etc. and they just keep on working. I tried an Android phone, the OS doesn't hold a candle to the efficiency of the BlackBerry 10 OS. Just bought wife an iPhone 6s, it is very slow, feels cheap (it wasn't). I also use an iPad Air (much of my AO experience is through iPad, thanks to the larger screen) and it is not near as fast or efficient as my Passport. I email, call, and text many times a day, and my BlackBerry Passport effortlessly sails through everything I do to it. I will not be supporting the mainstream cellphone technology anytime in the near future.

Just recently switched from a blackberry to an iPhone (work wasn't supplying blackberries anymore, only iPhones).....after the learning curve was done, I much prefer the iPhone for everything except email. I have trouble with the emails actually coming through, and find I need to reboot the phone every couple days to correct the problem. All in all though, prefer the iPhone after having used a blackberry for the last few years.

Trifecta
I run an ancient BB World Edition as my Mil Tech Net, an android as my 'friends' phone and an i6 as a work phone.
The BB is most important.

A lot of old guys here like me, so still a disproportionate amount of blackberries. Lol much prefer my iphone though for everything except typing. I assume bb will be out of business soon.

Been using Blackberry since my Motorola Flip phone gave out...so a long time! Using the Classic now, I love having the 'mouse' and key board, works much better for me than touch screen for the most part. I text, email, and phone. Very limited browsing, so it is ideal for me. And, they are a better quality build for sure. Much more durable.

I had a blackberry till I lost it then I went to an original Samsung Galaxy S. My blackberry was durable but for a full face screen phone this galaxy is amazingly strong. I have had it in my pocket when falling in a lake. Dropped it multiple times and you would never know it. Now if only the battery and internet would work better but hey it is a 6 year old phone now so to be expected...
My BB was a bold 9780. I liked some things about it like the mixture of touch screen and scroll pad but too often it would glitch out and lock up requiring hard restarts. Also the internet was painfully slow.
Also had an iphone for work, internet worked far better then the others but too bulky with cases and fragile without.
I should get a newer phone soon. Not sure what I am going to do, each brand seems to have advantages and disadvantages. Also not sure if this original galaxy is ever going to die either lol...

I use a BlackBerry Passport, have used BlackBerry Bold and classic, BlackBerry are tough, run my passport over with my truck, front and back tires, not on purpose, still works like a charm, have dropped it in the lake unloading my boat still works like a charm. I have much better reception with my BlackBerry then anyone I work with that uses I phones, very limited service where I work.

Haven't owned one since the 9900 have tried iphone and android (currently s6 edge) but i must say with the latest updates the Priv is a nice phone. After all the things they haven't got right i must say that the Hub is something i still miss.

BB Bold 9900, 5 yrs and still going, still a fan of BB. I am only going to upgrade as I want a bigger screen for emails. Probably go Samsung 6 now for the bigger screen. Cheaper and better deals now that the 7 is out. Will check out BB latest as well.
I will not drink the apple koolaid lol.

I am on Android now. A great phone so far. No iTunes sync BS - just drag and drop. It also is a lot simpler to use and navigate as it runs like my desktop.
Apple isn't the underdog - it is the devil!

Probably most have never tried an Android platform. I have used Blackberry, iPhone, and Android.
Android is superior hands down....but don't take my word for it

I've got a Blackberry with a brand new battery. I've never used it. I had planned to but forgot the battery when I went to register it. It was too far to drive back and get the battery so I bought a Samsung instead and see no reason to change now.
I only use the phone on long trips, there's no coverage here so it's useless most of the time.
Funny thing. I have five cell phones, an original bag phone, a razor phone, a older Audiovox flip phone the Blackberry and now the Samsung and I rarely use the one I have registered.
Odd to because I was one the first people in the county to register a cell phone.
