Default $4.4 million on climate plan advertisements???

Something is really wrong with the whole logic of it. Looks like we are paying to brainwash ourselves so we would be happy to pay more?

“If they have to spend that much money to sell it, obviously Albertans aren’t buying it,” Loewen said. “They continue to spend money on promoting their agenda, and really they need to spend money supporting Albertans.”

Frustrating isn't it? This is what happens when you as social workers and teachers to run a province. Oh, don't let me forget students. We have students too.

Makes me want to drive a golf cart to Edmonton, but that would be a long drive.

The radio ads reek of propaganda. I can't believe anyone would believe it will lessen asthma and hospital visits. I can't believe they are that smug.

There's some magical envelope around this province, only NDP atmosphere.

I'll admit I am not the sharpest tool in the shed but for the life of me I can make no sense of this method they used for online polling.

NORMALIZED AND DERIVED SCORES
To assist in comparing responses across multiple questions and multiple crosstabs,
normalized and derived scores were created as part of the analysis.

• Normalized scores. Each tier on a question that asks respondents to rank order
can be thought of as an individual question: first, second, third, fourth and fifth
choice can all be reviewed individually. Normalized ranking scores combine an
option’s placement across all tiers into a single numerical value from 0 to 100 to
give a better sense of the overall popularity of any given choice.
o 1st choice: 100 points
o 2nd: 75 points
o 3rd: 50 points
o 4th: 25 points
o 5th: 0 points

• Derived scores. Result tables for questions that asked respondents to rate their
levels of agreement, support or concern include a “derived score” row that
converts the scale responses into a single numerical value from 0 to 100 that
represents the average for the population identified.
o Strongly disagree/strongly oppose: 0 points
o Disagree/oppose: 25 points
o Neither agree nor disagree/unsure: 50 points
o Agree/support: 75 points
o Strongly agree/strongly support: 100 points

The government should make efforts to inform the people on how it's spending is allocated. Or is the hundreds of millions of dollars spent on Economic Action Plan advertisements a waste of tax money?

OK, I have heard the ad, what's the point of this cheesy message, can say "NO" to this BS? Signed all petitions I saw, don't think it was doing much.

I dunno, I think that those economic action signs are still needed. People still think Harper didn't pave any hiways.

"The NDP government has spent more money to advertise its plan to tax carbon than the former Progressive Conservatives spent to promote its 2013 and 2014 budgets, and its Building Alberta campaign, combined. "

Was these programs as stupendously stupid and pointless as tax carbon approach? At least they were easier to sell

No amount of my money is going to convince me that a carbon tax is good. The next Government is going to have to work hard to undo all this crap we are being burdened with .
