Default Beaver Lake by Sundre

Was out fishing at Beaver Lake last weekend. Fishing was OK and we did manage about a half dozen of nice fish. I did a REALLLY REALLY stupid thing. My buddy hooked up with a smaller rainbow about 14", and I put my fly rod down to help him land the fish. Wouldn't you know at I was helping him release the fish, a big fish hit my rod and pulled it over the side of boat. The last time I saw the rod it was angling away from the boat to north at a fairly good pace. If anybody happens to hook a fly rod, please let me know. Not necessarily trying to get back ( although it would be nice), just curious if someone ever finds it.
I guess I've learned my lesson, rod holder or completely retrieve your fly. LOL

sorry man, but that gave me a good laugh. A couple times pike fishing i would just have my rod leaning at an angle while I am trolling and I would have to move fast to catch it before it tipped overboard. I learned to keep my foot on it or keep it in my hands. Good luck on getting your rod back!
