Default Best Places in Alberta to Hunt

Here it is. THE List. No more shall you wonder. You are welcome

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT A MOOSE IN ALBERTA -- right behind the front leg
BEST PLACE TO SHOOT A DEER IN ALBERTA -- right behind the front leg
BEST PLACE TO SHOOT A GOAT IN ALBERTA -- right behind the front leg
BEST PLACE TO SHOOT AN ANTELOPE IN ALBERTA -- WMU166 and then right behind the front leg

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT AN ELK IN ALBERTA -- Willmore Wilderness

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT A BEAR IN ALBERTA -- up for debate. Some say in the heart, I blast the front shoulders out.

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT GAME BIRDS IN ALBERTA -- in the head, unless you are going to the taxidermist, then the chest.

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT SHEEP IN ALBERTA -- ask "sheephunter", I'm "huntinstuff"........

BEST PLACE TO SHOOT WILD BOAR IN ALBERTA -- anywhere you find them

That's it. The most comprehensive list ever compiled. Now get out there and scout and spend time in the bush. Have fun

Thanks for sharing your insight! Sheephunter where does one shoot those darn sheep? Huntinstuff spilled his knowledge, now it's your turn!

The best place to hunt anything is where theres a nice river to float down. But sweet post, I had my hopes up for a split second.

So, whereabouts on an elk, does one find this Willmore Wilderness? Only in Alberta, you say. Pity. [Pun on an old Tea commercial]

As someone else pointed out, on another thread, Banff, Jasper has great opportunities, if you're willing to ignore regular hunting hours and can make a quick getaway.
