Default Amisk Lake...anyone?

Going to Amisk in June, and looking for some advice from anyone who's ever fished there before. Anyone?

I've caught fish there once right from the dock, that was a long time ago. MY uncle, aunt and cousin lived at Denare Beach for eons. Uncle Fred had the store at one time, and the motel and dance hall. He loved to fish, commercially and just for the pleasure of it. I think one day soon, I'll return for a visit although my uncle and aunt are no longer alive and my cousin lives elsewhere.

Trolling is great along the shores, and I think there is a nice weed bed in the south end. Good Luck!

Watch for reefs lurking just under the water, you'll see lots of prop scars on the granite, the locals mark most of the bad ones. Go up and left of the launch, you'll see a point, great starting place. Walleyes are great outa there. If you have time try Jan and kissinu (sp.) Good fishing to you.
