Default 2016 Hunting Season. Enjoy

Great year for us.Took one week off for hunting, and broke in the 6.5 Creedmoor. Not sure if it was luck or...... shot both deer in the throat patch and hit the spine. Both dropped in their tracks. The pictures tell the story.

Nice deer, Nice butcher table location (I'm relogated to the garage, if I tried that my wife would butcher me!), and Nice end product.

Congrats all around. Dog looks happy too...venison kitchen scrapes.

Do you use collegen or natural casings? which do you find overall better between packing and then eating.

Congrats on the deer and the field pics but honestly it's the other pics that got me drooling.
Hey idea for a thread - pic of home-made powered grinders.

Default casings

Nyksta the chubs are 3 pound collegen casings and the rest is 33 mm. hog casing , we do our bratwurst in hog casing too, the wife has a tailored bratwurst recipe that she has perfected over 20 years , that's next after christmas we like to cook them up in the ice shack, yum
