Not fish specific like everyone else, but have kids and a wife that like to surf. So there will be some surfing days, and some fish slaying days.

Having some shallow river fun, hoping to hit up a few new rivers this summer. Maybe around red deer.

Picked ours up used a few years ago from a dealer in Winnipeg. Boat, motor (Force 120 2-stroke), and trailer delivered for $6500. 80# trolling motor with co-pilot, fish finder, dual live wells, removable tripod waterski/tubing post, front and center seats come out and go on pedestals fore and aft for casting. With the Admiral and I on board with a full day's fishing gear and supplies, I can still get 40 knots at WOT.
Also have an inflatable 1-man pontoon that I put a 30# motor on. Fully deflated I can get the whole thing into the trunk of my Accord with room for my gear as well. Really nice to have when I'm on an early shift and can get to a lake right after work. Picked it up at Costco two summers ago, very similar to the Colorado from Classic Accessories, only difference is I don't have the forward puches on the pontoons.

What's your boat? I love running the RD if you ever need another boat to tag along.

Given the current state of the economy I might wait till next year lol.
Even my 1875 whitewater amazes me where it will go! The thing I will miss is the fuel economy my boat has. The Yamaha just sips gas!

Perfect fishing boat. Honda's are great, and the Tyee peaks for itself. Jealous.

Same boat, gonna have this one for a while.
I did the lions share of the work last year; added radar, electric kicker steering, also kicker remote control throttle and shifter, redid the fuse boxes in the cuddy, added 2 in the engine compartment, cleaned out the rats nest of wiring. I also added a 12" Rigid hybrid combo light and took off the old spotlight.
I bought this kit from a wonderful fellow here, and now have water resistant quick connects everywhere. Very handy.
I made my own rod storage tubes, all of these fit in the one. I used PVC, with a neoprene wrap and bag I sewed.
I also installed a Nmea 2000 network on the boat so the guages are all digital now, and the fishfinders can share radar/plotter/depth sounding chores
This year I 3d printed a set of radio box drawers, for camera, binocs, keys, cell, etc
I am adding a swim platform as soon as it gets here,
I am redoing the rear jumpseat,
and when I can get the hard top back on I am planning on making a set of camper covers so someone can sleep on the deck while at dock. I am also making a padded windshield cover for when travelling, they are impossible to replace apparently.
I am adding airhorns for ocean safety, the little VW bleep bleep horn they provide is useless. I bought a dual horn 'CN' style set and am using a 4500psi retired SCBA tank which should last all summer.
(I hate the look without the hard top, much prefer it on)

Ken,
Your boat is closer to a yacht. My boat can act as your life raft!.
I bet that set up is perfect for Cold Lake, Kootenay or the coast ..... very nice.

Its a 1990 Sylvan, a couple new marks on it since this pic was taken but still in great shape. I bought it in 1995, and it has been a great boat, spent many hours with the family fishing, (4 boys) and fished the walleye trails for almost 20 years as well.
