Default Alberta hunting

Well I just moved here from BC about a month ago right, And I have my hunting liscence in BC, Do you guys think that if I go to the fish cops or something and show them it I wont have to re-take the test? Or if I do will I have to do the whole test or just the small part of it, Just a quick re write, And not the whole test? Thank you

As far as I know, as long as you have proof of a BC hunting license just go to a license issuer and apply for your WIN number right there. you can buy a hunting/fishing license as soon as you have your WIN.

You don't even have to leave your computer... You can apply for your WIN online at albertarelm.com

Here's the link.

walmart, canadian tire, can do it. but finding someone that is qualified can be another story. Where do you live? I am sure you have a hunting store near you that can be of assistance. Remember to pick up your copy of the hunting regs free of charge. There are a lot of different rules here compared to BC. This site can be a great resource to clarify any regs questions you may have.

I'm pretty certain you dont need to take the hunting course again. I had a friend out from Manitoba and another one from BC and they didnt need to take the test again, at least not with me being their hunter/host. Where are you at?

You don't need to take the test. You've held a hunting license before. - Class "A" Hunter Ed. Instructor.- There may be some residency requirements (not sure may be 6 months), that's what you'll need to inquire about.

Need to have your drivers license or some sort of ID stating that you are a resident of Alberta. Then you can get your WIN card then you can buy a hunting license. I just did it last year. Simple as that !!!
