Default Sakwatamau River INfo please

Has anyone gone for Grayling/Rainbows on the Sakwatamau River near Whitecourt? Was thinking of trying it with fly gear and was wondering how far up the Eagle River Rec Area access road should I go to get to some decent fishing. Any info on this river would be greatly appreciated.

West on highway 43 towards fox creek go about 20km and u will hit a road going north called virgina hills road.........u will cross the river on this road u will need to find another road off it or walk far enough away from bridge...........be mostly grayling until u find the right conditions and there will be bows

I believe Virginia Hills is 41km from the lights at MacDonald's..only know that from working there a few times. The lower reaches are not bad in a few spots you'll find the odd bow, but as was mentioned the virginia hills area is a better choice
