Default Benjamin nitro piston .25 cal

Anyone on here have or know anything about the Benjamin Nitro piston air rifle in .25 caliber ?

not 25, but my 22 sure smacks rabbits

I wish they'd have had a 25 when I bought mine

Mine is a .22.

To tell you the truth I always thought I should have got a .17 cal.
This one is 1000ft/sec and deadly accurate at 20-30 yards but I wonder if the little bit more speed at the expense of the weight would be better?
I guess this is the age old caliber debate.

I thought of going pre charge BUT the canister thing has me thinking, D&L told me instead of the Rogue , why not go Nitro piston as it is almost as good , a bit slower but .25 is heavier and should do the job keeping everything like quarry size and distance .Those two thing s are key with air rifles . I guess if a fellow didn't care he could go to the Air force and be done with it.

.25 pellets are a bit expensive, unless you switch to buckshot. Kind of a hard to find size.

With that power level, I think the advantage goes to the .22 cal with some heavier pellets.

I have found that a big springer is challenging to shoot; not sure how much easier a gas piston is. Went with a PCP gun.
