Default Gull update

Went out about 1 Km east of Sandy Point on Wednesday. Sunny, no wind but cold enough that holes skimmed over all day. Partner and I landed 3 burbs and a couple of pike all by jigging except one on dead bait. We were after whites in a spot we fish successfully year after year by GPS but a bust. In past years by this date the burbs and whites are thick there. Hoping we are just a bit early and success will pick up next week. As with previous posts the snow is deep and wind packed so bad for vehicles without snow tires, 4X4 and good ground clearance. One little red car might still be out there... Ice was about 30" thick.
