Default Canmore Restaurant Recommendations

Looking for some recommendations for family dining. We are getting tired of our usual 'go to' restaurants there (Rocky Mountain Flatbread and Grizzly Paw).

Thanks!

X 3 for Iron goat--awesome duck wings

Grizzly paw seems to have gone downhill in a big way

Iron goat has good food but I had a friend who worked in the kitchen and said he wouldn't eat there.

If you are looking upscale I’ve enjoyed “The Trough” when I’ve been in Canmore on business.

Bison Bistro in Banff is awesome too.

For good pub grub I like the Drake in Canmore as well.

Good family place is Patrinos.
https://www.patrinoscanmore.ca

The call themselves a 'steakhouse & pub' - but they're very popular with local families. Excellent pizza reasonably priced. Ask about their specials too.

Quatro is excellent too. Although the kiddies might not appreciate the Asian menu.

It’s been a couple years since I went there but Santa Lucia is a good Italian restaurant.

Was there 3 years ago and we were the only ones in there at supper time and thought hmmm that's weird. I didnt mind it everyone else hated it. We've been to other Brazilian bbqs that were unreal, this place I'd go somewhere else.

Our current go to, hearty consistent family Italian.

Mountain Mercato is very good.

Goerge Town Inn for quick beer and French Onion Soup w Poutine.

Crazy Weed is still the best, reason they where voted in top three Canadian restaurant's years in a row.
