Watch him when he doesn’t have the puck and what stat does he have that shows he’s not one dimensional and only hustles when the puck is on his stick?

yup.... a very bumpy ride...should have let him earn the rest of the season, re-evaluate him and see whats he worth to offer....man oiler management are very odd eh.

I do, all the time. He had a rocky start to the season, I'll be the first to admit that, but he's stepped up his game huge the last few months. There's still room for improvement in some areas of his game, which is a good thing IMHO.
100 pt player, C or W, plays the PP and PK, one of the best passers in the league, and dominates puck possession. I know nothing I can say will change your opinion, but to call Draisaitl a one dimensional sniper says more about you than it does about his game.

Good edit lol, the Brett Hull comment was really bad.
How about one of only 2 Edmonton forwards with a positive +/-? Terrible stat, but if you're floating around getting scored on all the time when you don't have possession, it's pretty hard to be a + player, no matter how many points you score.
At any rate, I'll take my own advice and be done there lol.

I heard Rieder say on the radio today he was offended. He should be 0 goals and what he’s being paid! If I didn’t produce for my employer I’d be offended too!

I wasn’t even replying to you. It was a comment I made on Oilers Nation about Bob Nicholson and also posted here.
Holy triggered. Lol

Hey Buddy why don't you take a hike off this thread if you are going to repeatedly insult and call people names.

Guy replies to my comment which simply said I was surprised by Bob Nicholson’s character by saying in am not an “NHL” guy and then claims he didn’t reply to me. Geez
If you actually look at how this started...I was hardly picking a fight

That’s cool
I am a Flames fan but watched Nicholson when he was with HC...again, I’m surprised he went that low...as for hockey sense, I’m glad he and Gully are up there
Cheers

Let me tell you this...At least all our over priced under achieving players will be fresher in the latter parts of their hockey careers because seriously the Oiler players only play from September to the end of March.
Their bodies don't take the punishment of games played from April to June

If you take Drai out. Have 3 30 point guys plus McDavid, Hopkins and Kassian along with the rest of the group I think it would be a better showing.
And hey what if a couple of those 30 point guys actually backchecked and forechecked? You know, a two way player. Drai is as one dimensional as it gets.
Great season for him though. Yay.....

I didn't understand your previous post about DrySalt having a great year? But I do understand this post. DrySalt had a brutal season defensively. He only caught FIRE the last couple months. Honestly(I've been saying this all year long) he makes Frank" "The Big M" Mahovlich look like the Road Runner

Time to skyrocket that 0.8% chance to get into the playoffs with a win against the basement dwelling Senators.
