I'm sure the soviets were looking for any clue that it was a set up but found none obviously as the pr for them would have been yooj.

My random Rant
What is with car manufactures making cars & trucks now where the
reverse lights come on when car are sitting parked with nobody in them !!
Sure screws up trying to drive through a crowed parking lot now as it looks like everyone is backing up.

Cool . If the barrel is rifled I would think firing bird shot or buckshot would be hard on the rifling and throw the pellets pretty wide. A person would have to use 410 slugs instead. Maybe a smoothbore for a .410 version.

What is the purpose of putting winter tires on only the rear axle of a front wheel drive car?

Probably the same purpose as having tires with better tread at the back, regardless whether it is a front-wheel drive, rear-, or a 4x4.

My random post is I saw a Tesla in Peace River a few days ago!

Sitting in the kitchen organizing my day - gave up after realizing the first 8 things I have to do have nothing to do with shooting !

The thread said "random"....

Some points to ponder...

~ If a poison goes beyond its expiry date is it no longer poisonous or does it become more poisonous?

~ Which letter is silent in the word "scent"? The "s" or the "c" ?

~ If you rip a hole in a net does the net have more or less holes ?

~ What if the only reason your dog brings the stick back to you is because the dog believes you enjoy throwing it?

A serious point to ponder..
~ 100 years ago everyone owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today everyone owns cars and only the rich have horses.

Went to Home Depot for a replacement "cartridge" for my Moen kitchen faucet. The guy in plumbing wrote "warranty" on the package. No charge. It was kind of tricky to replace but I found a step by step guide on internet. No more leaks.

If a US election were held today, models predict Trump would win in a landslide.

Randomly wondering why I don't ever see any of these canned goods on the shelves in Safeway, Superstore or even the dollar store. Feel like I'm missing out on some good treats. Great for the backpack.

Amber Heard is crazy hot in Aquaman.

I am tired of fighting overland flooding.

It's nice to start another trip around the warm side of the sun again finally.

I think the tire shops rationalize this by the thought that it would keep the car in a straight line while braking, they go on the concept that if the front had the good winter tires and the back had bald summer tires that the car could easily be spun with the rear of the car passing the front when braking hard on ice. Personally I ran this exact set-up a lot as a youth and it worked just fine for me, but then I get physics and can countersteer as necessary or when I wanted I'd take advantage of it and use it with my e-brake for faster parallel parking!

It seems that the more technology we have available to us the more we embrace the negative sides of our personalities because we no longer are accountable firvanything we say it do.
The older I get the less I like people (and I am including myself) in general for how we treat others and the animal Kingdom around us .
