Project Time!
With it being that time of the year where those ideas start coming together, and after seeing LEO's thread on some of the awesome projects he's made.
I think we should have a thread where we post about any DIY projects we have made. Past or current.
I weld or forge most of my projects, not a welder by trade just a sideshow.
I am working on a zip line/play structure right now. I'll post up some of my previous ones.
Let's see yours!! It may give ideas or just to show your handy work. It's always nice to see what people build in their spare time.
Leo, feel free to repost some of yours here too! I think we might get some upholstery or TIG work from Ken.
Propane forge I built.
Headache rack from previous thread.
Wrench axe
Split cross from a 7/8" stud

Your stuff is amazing, my projects pale in comparison
this was fun though, bird breaster
this was a 13 hour Tig marathon, side tanks held water, front held diesel, and a separate one held fuel, for MX bike cleaning and refueling for a friend. I sold the brake so I can't make anymore of them.
this is a zero-friction feed roller for a 3d printer, designed on S3d and printed on a Makerbot Z18
I made these for holding camera, binocs, keys, wallet, cell etc for the radio box of my boat. On the 3d printer the cost is minimal, just took a long time to print, actually about 40 hours per box. To make something out of wood that would withstand the elements and pounding would be way too heavy.
3d printed arrow fletchers, super handy
this is a 3d printed drone carrying case, the DJI Mavic pro fits neatly in it, completely protected.
When I get some time I am going to print a new guage cluster for my boat
windshield protection
fishing rod case- made of a piece of PVC tube, with a neoprene sock inside to protect the rods and outside just to make it look good. It was one of my first sewing projects with the upholstery machine. Holds a lot of rods!
wiring cover in the boat, replaced a big cumbersone heavy wooden thing that was nothing but in the way
first mock-up of a roof rack for my boat, I want it for carrying the inflatable tender, crab traps, etc. This is what is kicking my butt tig welding currently. I am getting it, but slower than I would like.

Always have something on the go.
Not the actual one, but a taper turning attachment for my lathe. This was the model.
Cart for my log splitter.

You have my full and undivided attention.
I sold my lathes, big one was a 1956 Hitachi seiki turret ram, now have a little lathe/mill but haven't done a lot with it yet

Amazing work. Keep the pictures coming! Some very talented craftsman here.
Ken, My back hurts just thinking about welding out that beautiful fuel/water tank.
Thinking of so many things I could use a little case for.
Wes_G, That dresser is great. Family heirloom quality work right there.
MooseKnuckle, What are those pedals made out of? You need to post a picture when finished. Looks awesome.
Grizzly Adams, The cart for the splitter is a must have. I love it. My dad has a splitter like that and it's too low to use on the ground but pretty heavy for him to lift to working height. Also, looking forward to any more tooling builds.

I made some doors for my Ranger
And a bumper for my Samurai
I think I’ll build a bumper for my Renegade this summer so I can fit a 3500lb winch.

Your copper skills are on point. If I could work copper like that I think I'd have my own still out back for "bio-fuel".

Thank you , I'm a journeyman tinsmith
I started at 17 years old doing copper roof flashings with an old Italian journeyman who taught me everything.
He was a hard ass but was an incredible tradesman!
