Default Road to Tower Lodge Dore Lake

Hey guys,

Based on the discussion in regards to tower lodge at dore lake, I’m looking to book a trip in 2020. Sounds like a lot of fun.

My question is what shape is the road in? How many km of gravel?

Thanks and tight lines this year to everyone.

it's about 75km of gravel, the logging companies usually maintain the road well, however if there is alot of rain the road will go to crap really fast.

If you drive a truck or SUV it's not too bad most of the time, now that the logging operations are in full flight again , the first few years after the restart it could get hairy even in a truck. A car or mini van can have some trouble with the odd soft spot.

Thanks for the info. Trip is now booked.

I’m looking forward to a new adventure on a new lake.

DustinJoels.
Would you mind sharing how much they are charging you?
I looked on the web site and it's a bit confusing.
Are you renting a boat?
Food?

Thanks
Jamie

I just booked the basic cabins without boat rental. $80/night plus $10/night for each extra person more than two people. Plus tax.

If you have any questions, give them a call on the number listed on the website. They were more than helpful and willing to answer any questions.
