Default 2019 Antelope

Leaving the house at 3am I was pretty discouraged driving 3 hours through thick fog. I stayed persistent, hunted hard and continued on and manage to make it happen. This is my biggest antelope to date, I couldn't be more happy with it.

Considering a couple year ago he said he just moved to Alberta from New Brunswick I’m sure it was shoot under his treaty card... Or am I wrong Jim Paul??? How many years wait for the tag??

You just got an antelope in 2017 I believe, I remember the questions about the Euro mount. 2 in 3 years?

Does anyone know if it was an archery tag before and now he has the general tag? Only explanation I can think of...

You need to think a little more outside the box. Tags and priority don’t apply to all...

If that's the case that's one of the problems in this country ,some people can hunt every year First Nations ,non-resident aliens but the residents get the leftovers and a 12-year weight

And don't forget the new Alberta Metis agreement which took effect Sept. 1st. My guess is this scenario with no response from him on the previous questions he was asked and if he did take an antelope buck in 2017....

Yup and the government doesn't have accurate numbers of how many new "harvesters" are actually out there this season with the new agreement. Pretty sad for Alberta fish and wildlife IMO......

Well, if my blood wasn't already boiling this morning, this sure doesn't help. Sask only lets resident hunters for goats---why don't we???
