This is an older pic, but it shows the map on the left. The map is set for depth but you can also show bottom hardness or weed lines as well.

This is what i found useful this year as i had done some AC Live Mapping this summer.
If i would have known then what i do now i possibly wouldn't have bought a vexlar 4 years ago.
The AC Live map from Sept has saved me alot of fooling around drilling holes, set us moving etc. I did this mapping as a 2nd bird with the first stone as i was trolling fishing. Note i did buy a second transducer for my boat i believe its a xyz920 which is a higher speed transducer. This allows me to map 30 mph on the to and from the boat dock.

As i pull the FF off for winter anyways, I hooked up the Humminbird head to my Jeeps battery in the garage and scroll thru the map. I then zoomed in and took a photo of that screen on my phone. I have printed up colored depth maps, havent yet laminated it though.

When i show up with the wheeled ice shack, all i need to know is right in front of me.
