Default security cameras

I want to set up a security cameras along with an audible motion detector and was wondering what you guys would recommend? Would also prefer a camera that would send images to my phone for when I am not around.

Check out the wireless Arlo cameras. I’m sure better options exist but they work pretty well for the money. All the cameras are magnetic.

I just installed a system by "Swann Security". Bought from Costco online. Do some research. Swann has a good reputation, easy to install, motion sensor recording with audio, and great resolution even in the dark. Can monitor from my phone.

Ring door bell and cameras, need wifi. Other then that has great picture quality and warranty . $100 for the year on multiple cameras ( same address) and 60 day video playback storage on the cloud .

I really like my Arlo cameras as they are easy to setup and wireless. However here are the two drawbacks in my opinion.
1. Since they are wireless - you need to charge the battery from time to time. In colder weather the battery goes down quickly. You can add a charging cable but depending on the location can be a pain in the butt.

2. Arlo cameras shut down in temps colder than -20 c. Major drawback. Even if they have direct power connection they shutdown in anything colder than -20c. I didn’t realize this eh. I purchase my system.

Very convenient and quick setup. The app is great. I would give them a 7/10 rating overall.

Default EUFY Cam

I have the EUFY cam at front and back. Look almost identical to the Arlo, but purport a 365 day battery. Using them for 3.5 months now and power is down to 88% on both cams.
