Exclamation OIC prohibits a CROSSBOW!

OIC Prohibits a CROSSBOW!

The poorly constructed OIC introduced by Bill Blair has inadvertently banned this crossbow.

The PSE Tac-15 uses a standard Ar-15 upper in its construction. Cost to CDN taxpayers to buy back $2000 each!

Now some bow enthusiasts have prohibited devices in Canada.

Weirder and weirder each passing moment!

I thought it used the AR upper. If it used an AR lower it would already have been classified as restricted here so you’d not be able to hunt with it in the first place. I bet they used a proprietary lower mated to an upper for manufacturing ease.

There are a couple different TAC15 crossbow variations. The initial ones did indeed have an AR15 lower incorporated into it. They would have been restricted before the OIC and you would have been only able to use them at a range (not for hunting). Now yes, they would be prohibited....because the lower cold be removed from the crossbow and installed on any AR15 platform.

I think those dirty scoundrels went and prohibited uppers as a way of giving their middle finger to the people who bought stripped lowers thinking they’d be grandfathered.

Pretty sure I read it's because of 80% lowers...
Bill B-liar made some ridiculous claim about bringing them back from the US and making "ghost guns".
All nonsense, regardless how you slice it.
