Default Horses on Public Land?

What's the law say about horses on Green Lands? Was up in 330 Friday and saw two groups of about a half dozen horses on public land. One horse out of the dozen had a bridle on.

Are guys allowed to do this instead of feeding them themselves? Is it worth a call to F&W?

I would say that somebody is catching wild horses guys used to put studs in to try to get better breeding. Form what I understand you are not aloud to catch wild horses any more possibly there are permits to catch them. There are still lots of cowboys that catch wild horses. Another thing that I have herd that if there are wild horse in an area they are very aggressive towards other game and they run elk out of there area. My comments are based on convention with other hunters and guilds I have no experience with wild horse other then seeing them around.

High probability that they are horses from the O'cheese or Sunchild reserves. I used to hunt quite a bit out there and would often see domestic horses with halters running around.
