I was out with my bow this afternoon. I was on some crown land west of Calgary. We had fresh snow this morning. When I got there it had just stopped snowing. About a half an hour into the bush I came across some fresh....I mean very fresh cougar tracks. Holy S$&@# !!! I was looking over my shoulder for the rest of the day. I hate those sneaky cats.......

Saw my first cats this year. One at 40 yards, the other at 10 yards. Both came out of a tree as we approached. This was all within one hour of each other.

Beware the trees!!

That first pic has been floating around the net for several years. It has been proven to be a fake. The moose one I have seen before as well. Not sure if it is real or not.

Question

Mulecrazy
Who prooved the 1st pic to be a fake and how did they proove it?
If you tell me it's photoshopped, you don't know much about photoshop.
Looks pretty real to me.

lol. This pic has been on here before. last time one of the other posters tracked down a write up of some sort on it and had the actual pictures. It is a very well photoshopped pic for sure. I have no idea where the heck the other member got the proof and I am not about to waste a bunch of time looking for it.

Is it just me or have there been way too many kitty kitty around. Last two years in 330 they have been all over. We used to see alot of wolves and now it seems the area is over-run with cats.?

The moose and cat photos are from my D40 camera this fall. I've added the first one of the sequence. The moose is heading south, camera goes off and gets his attention. 12 minutes later the cat shows up also heading south... I think the camera spooked the cat becase the next two shots in the 3 shot burst don't have a cat in them:

Default Did you ever feel you were being watched?

I was out elk hunting around a wallow, figured I'd try bugling, gave the terminator a blast, within second's had a response. I grabbed my bino's, started scanning the coulee below me, something caught my eye, so I scanned back slowly and there was another hunter looking through his bino's back at me, we both has a chuckle!
