Bobber stop best ones
Which bobber stop works best? I am using the ones on a wire but I think they slip and are hard to get through the rod tips...
Thanks

Bobber stop knot(Uni knot) tied on dacron line(fly line backing) is the best. You can pre tie some on a straw. Or you can buy them. Dont trim to short and you can tighten them up if needed.
Have found nothing better.
And if you still have trouble you can use 2 of them.

Does it hold on the super lines?

Sounds to me like your using the wrong thing.Rowley's indicator floats, set your depth..Or i guess if your a gear guy, those one's with wire,i believe they come in different sizes.Cheap to buy.Last time i bought some .I think i got 10 $1.65 FH.You can slide on to tippet material.Used them when i was dangling, with a sinking line,i belive the water i was in was 25' deep.Just don't leave them on the fly line.I had to cut mine of...But they sure work, great on either mono,or fly line..Definitely takes the guess work out of .Where was that set, before the fish ,popped my corkie...Thanks Phil Rowley

I have not found any that works really well on super lines. Found that the old stren fusion line(super line) worked best for slip bobbers(uni knot or 2 uni knots worked on that line), but that line was discontinued(bought a good supply of it, a lifetime supply for me ). That line I used for slip weights mostly and could adjust leader length easily(used it to refine what leader length was working best) but worked pretty good for slip bobbers too. But I still use mono mostly for slip bobbers less hassle. And still bobber knot works best that I have found.

Good choice. Bobber knot should work very well for you.
Couple guys on here suggested eagle claw.
Buy those if you dont want to tie your own.

Best are the little pre-tied flourescent yellow, orange and pink ones. They dont get hung up, and dont seem to slip too bad.

Don't think I have ever purchased one in my life. Seems easy to tie on with a little piece fly line backing in 10 seconds. Not sure I'd even know how to use a store bought one.
