Portable Fish/depth finder
Back in the 80s (?) I had one just like in the picture.
I'm not very smart......sold it.
Worked great to check depth before drilling holes in the ice.
I'd really like to have an inexpensive one again.
Someone here have one tucked away in a back room they will part with ?

I use a garmine striker 4. The bundle is on sale at cabelas right now and it works great. Has gps so you can set way points to go back to them at a later date. Is flasher option and regular sonar option. Comes with a cary case battery and base. https://www.cabelas.ca/product/13449...ortable-bundle

For that price I would suspect u would have to buy a used unit. But I’ve never seen one sell for that cheap.

Great piece of kit....ohhh and a little secret about water depth etc...clear the snow off the ice...wet the surface...put transducer on top of ice...
Saves on drilling a lot of holes....

actually as mentioned I bought that little unit to have the versatility of putting it on the kayak, canoe or for ice fishing...has some great features and didn't break the bank.

Regular Kijiji sign-in is all that is required.

Shouldn't have sold my first one. Think I sold it for 50 bucks ?
Saves a ton of work for an old guy though !
Went through my (old) 10" Jiffy auger. VERY low time on it. Cleaned carb, gas tank etc. New VP mixed fuel (had to add oil as it was only 50:1 to get 24:1.
Runs great !
Figure with more time off I should get out fishing more.....I have at least one more hand auger & a tent I bought years ago from Kenslowvette .....that I have yet to open the package !

Yeah, I'm holding onto an older Humminbird Fishin Buddy for stillwater fishing. It's not as fancy or full featured as the new ones but is a nice all-in-1 package that does the basics I need.

Sounds like you got a good deal. No break on shipping in Canada unfortunately!
