Default burbot sylvan vs gull

Which would be the best for hooking up? I have never caught one so just looking to cross them off the bucket list. what kind of depth/structure should i start around? I should have time to head out in the next week or so. any pointers would be appreciated. thanks!

If you go out to Gull, South Side, Aspen beach then head "left" find the "pack" of ice fishers, find a spot at the drop off (may have to drill a few holes) and you are in business.

My go to lure is a small heavy rattling rap and minnow. Pound the bottom, make some noise, and stir up a little dust, then let it hover and give it baby twitches .....for a few minutes and watch. Then start all over. They will come and grab it.

Right now it's GO TIME.

I did check the regs. fishing is open but the limit for burbs is 0. I am a C&R fisherman primarily anyways. Just looking for a new fish on the line.
