If you know the size and specs
Someone will have one for far cheaper than the dealership

Find a hydraulic shop to rebuild it. Leaking seal, I presume?

Princess rams are ok, however, they aren't the quality of the OEM ones.

If there's a pair, get both done at once. All too often I've had it where one ram leaks (if they're old), and a week to a month later, the other one in the pair starts leaking.

Nothing wrong with a PA ram, the one in the link is out sourced.

No, the piston pulled off the rod inside the cylinder. THe piston is threaded on the rod with no nut. It unscrewed itself slowly and pulled out of the last bit of threads. Mangled the threads.

Most shops can machine threads onto a new rod.

What farmer wouldnt pound it together and weld the piston to the rod. Princess auto will be your best bet.

I would get the damaged one repaired for sure. I have done it a few times and its much less cash then new and a common repair.

Except that chroming will be more expensive than a PA replacement.

No, and should be relatively easy repair if only a few threads need to be cleaned up. If a 'new' rod needs to be threaded, I would assume the whole rod would be fab'd. We used to buy microhone tubing, and fab all the other parts. But unless you have access, a machine shop will be to costly, partly because of the need to chrome.

If a hydraulic shop can’t deal with it, she’ll put the $700 for OEM. Princess auto is junk. It will last in a low pressure system that doesn’t function much. If you want a component to operate beyond 1500 psi and last don’t buy power fist.

What machine shop can repair a cylinder for less than $150. You could buy 4 cylinders from princess for less than the price of one OEM. Who cares if it doesn’t last as long.
