Default Checked out Gull & Sylvan Ice yesterday

Update on the Ice where i was yesterday.

Sylvan on the north side.....6 inches to 8 inches of good ice. Drilled many holes so i would say the majority was just over 6 inches. Long walk pulling the sled as well.....

Gull at Brownlows..... 9 inches of good solid ice and another 1 inch of poor ice on the top. There was one guy that traveled around and across Brownlows with a 1/2 ton truck. The rest of us except one lilttle SUV walked it. The guy in the SUV just drove right out without checking as far as i could see.

Cant say as i would drive it with the truck yet but as you never know where that thin spot is until you have drilled many holes.

Play safe everyone and have fun!!!

Default Careful

A bobcat went under over at Wilsons Beach--Friday AM. Careful out there, not worth it. BEL
