Sure is a lot of talk about the other Kane a possibility in Edmonton. Hypothetical scenarios. Yeah, I guess you look at it if he's willing to come here. Depends what the cost is.

If that happened, they'd have one of the most potent offenses assembled in the NHL in the last several decades IMO.

I don’t think Holland will be willing to give up the prospects and draft picks it would take. He also has a too high cap hit. I like Patrick Kane but the cost will be too high for a one year rental

I don't for one minute believe Patrick Kane has picked Edmonton as one of his three preferred destinations.

I stretch for me as well. He might have but no way a resourceful old silver fox like Holland makes him a priority over Defense but you never know I guess. Got to keep that add revenue coming in somehow is how I see the whole Kane to Edmonton scenario but whadda I knaw

He MUST of had incriminating pics of Katz to be able to be such a huge failure year after year and not only get to keep his job, but he gets promoted too! If he had any conscience at all he would return all those paychecks.

Just the thought of that potential, YIKES!

But unless he's willing to play for about ten bucks a season. We need to dump salary, not add it.

Maybe in a multi team many player and draft pic heavy convoluted deal but even then JMO that's just a pipe dream. Sure is nice to dream though.

Just imagine a McDavid, Kane & Kane line.

Not hard to believe at all if he's looking at adding another ring to his collection as well as racking up another 100 point season in a contract year.
Smart move on his part.
New York may be appealing as well. Can't see him going to TO though, they seem to be the Flames of the east. Big hype every year only to fall flat come crunch time.

If he wanted to add another ring Edmonton would not be in his sights. He plays hockey professionally and understands the game.

I don't think Lower Bowl tickets have been $70 in about 30 years in Alberta. Your best bet is to go right to the team website and buy from there once they are on sale. You will be into lower bowl for a couple hundred each tho

Ya your not getting lower bowl for $70. Not in Edmonton at least, in Phoenix it would probably get you an entire box suite lol.

I got tickets thru stub hub.
They were lower bowl row 3. 70$ plus $20 taxes.
For oilers against the jets.
But it is a preseason game, maybe that’s why so cheap.

Just did a major cleanup in here of all the trash posts that have nothing to do with oilers off season news .
Let’s keep it that way .

If you're holding the line to Offseason News only as you say then you missed some "trash posts."

What was the issue if I'm allowed to ask? Flames and Oiler fans beaking one another? Ouch. Seems like the natural thing for provincial rivals to do and pretty harmless stuff. Its not like a fistfight can break out. I dont think.

Well it’s like the title says . “ Oilers news thread. “. Anything out side of that is a derail . Derailing a thread just to troll another member for your own entertainment , is not on.

Can I say Breaking News...Oilers Good. Flames Bad? Or, Bessie Good. TC, & Roper1 Bad. If I keep it to the Oilers thread only?

Just fooling around. Dont smack me. There's been no news since about July 10th.
