Default Cummins drainage on the east shore of Kinbasket Lake

Hey outdoorsmen, I was thinking of canoeing across Kinbasket Lake with some buddies at the end of the month, and maybe checking out the Cummins Lakes area. Thing is, there is nothing useful on the Internet about that place. I don't have any intention of hunting around there, just interested in horrible bushwhacking, remoteness, and some views. Anybody know if Lawrence Grassi hut still exists up that way? I asked the ACC and even they only seem half-sure that it's still there, only Google Maps has the little icon for it below the Cummins glacier and everything on the web about it is pre-2006.

Have you tried the BC hunting forum? Folks do use the reservoir for recreation.

Good point. I've seen some BC questions on here, but probably best to ask the right province haha.
