Default Birch

posted earlier.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

had a really good day at Birch today. was there from 9:00-12:00 and seen around 8 fish on the camera around 2-3 pounds which is a first for myself, the first one came in farely aggressive but kept missing my hook. Then I seen another mouth come into the screen but it was not a brookie it was about a 8-10 pound pike. yes a pike. I was shocked to see a pike in there. I quickly switch to a leader and tried to catch him but took off and not to be seen again. any way has anyone else seen any pike in there before. he diffenitly looked pretty healthy. I landed 2 that were just shy of 19" (3ish pounds) and were also really healthy and lost a couple more. a really good day.

Default good going!!

Always good to hear when someone has a good day on the ice.. As for the pike?? Hope there are not too many in there!! I am not very familiar with the lake myself, only been on it a couple times.
