Default Tackle shops in UK?

Hi all. I知 heading to the UK for a few days and was hoping to hit a tackle shop there for some unique stuff, likely for pike. I値l be in London and Birmingham. Anyone ever visit a cool shop there that they could recommend?

Never been but I know there are some awesome lure builders in the UK especially when it comes to jerk baits and soft plastics

I was at one in Leistershire years ago, it was basically the back of a guys house turned into a shop. They had alot of little pencil bobbers etc..... and one of the coolest chairs/tackle boxes i ever seen. I didn't see any big box type stores like we have here.

Fosters of Birmingham (think it is now called angling Direct) comes highly recommended from a friend near there.

Made it to Angling Direct today. Mostly carp fishing gear, but I found a few pike lures that aren稚 around Canada.

Leadertec comes to mind. I ordered a fair bit of big game tackle from them just prior to moving here. I知 not sure if they sell freshwater tackle.

Not a ton of big stuff, but some Savage Gear soft bait harnesses, some Westin baits, and a few Fox Rage. The harnesses are what I was looking for. The shop was 90% Carp gear.

Too bad they lacked in pike selection with the quality of pike lures that are made in Europe. I talk to some of the European lure builders online and they make some nice gear but I am not sure if any of them supply any shops or just sell directly to customers.

Gator gum lures can be found in shops and they make some nice soft plastics

Enjoy your trip
