Default Morels growing in yard?

Are these actually Morels? I have never picked them before. They are growing behind my house in the grass, mature Forrest close by. If so any tips to eating them?

Thanks

It is important to cook them properly to avoid some ill effects. They do have some toxins that are neutralized by the cooking process. I usually boil them for 10 minutes and then fry them with garlic, butter and onions.

I would suggest skip the boiling.

The frying/sautéing is enough to eliminate any toxins.
Boiling first just removes flavor....
