Default Ruger SR-22 Available yet??

Good day,
Has anyone heard of the ruger sr22 being available in canada recently ??
I am on a couple waiting lists , but have heard rumors of people buying them in the last week . I was told that the major shipment from ruger would be in Canada to distribute at the beginning of april.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Ken

Wholesale Sports had a few, but the employees bought them before they hit the sales rack.

Saw one in Pro-line on the shelf, held it, didnt really see the point. My old ruger 10/22 will be fine until/if the Smith & Wesson MP22 comes to Canada.

Mine is good. I have a red/green dot on it and it puts all shots into the dot. A scope would really wring it out. My dot is 2MOA. Good enough for those tactical grouse in my parts. A riot to play with.
I have seen one M&P 15-22 for sale now. Restricted by looks. It was under 500 bucks.
I think the Ruger, or any one of the new 22's, can get pricey in a hurry if you get the dot, rails, lights, grenade launcher etc. And yes I was looking at a launcher. It would look cool but kinda useless.

If it would shoot 12ga birdshot then that would be perfect.

I don't which store or withnesses you are talking about, because I saw one on the shelf for $549 at South edmonton store this morning (May 3rd).

I asked them and they told me that they got 5, and 4 of them were for specail orders (waiting list) and this is the last one that no one ordered so it is on the shelf for sale to any one who wants to buy it.

I would have bought it in a heart beat if I already didn't have a 10/22.

Default Thanx,they are awesome!!

Evening,
Thanks for all the info guys.
I actually found one at the dawson creek gunshow, and snapped it up quickly.
It's a blast. Seem's quite accurate, but I need to break it in before I really try for group's. Easy to use, dismantle, and add on to , I couldn't be much happier.
Only downfall I can see is this tactical stuff could be addictive and get a bit pricey, there is soo much tactical stuff on the market, it's hard to know when to stop searching for more.
Thank's again for the help.
Ken

Yes I think so all that is stoping the stock from ajusting is the spring pin in the stock you can undo the machine screw on the stock but because of this pin that you really need to look hard for in the stock. If one was to remove it you will find it adjusts. I bought mine at millarm in Edmonton.

If you get your pin out... You would have to mill the bottom of the tube and put in your holes for the adjustment stops, if you found the spring and other parts. I was going to pull the pin and drill a hole to make it a 2 position but the tube is longer and would stick out the end of the butt. So I just bought a new one for $99. Way way easier.
