Default Trolling motor mount

I have seen a couple fiberglass ski boats with minn kotas on the bow before and would like to mount one on mine. Because the bow does not have a flat spot to mount it I am unsure how to do this. What i would like to know from anyone is if the mount is a purchased item or a custom build. If custom what kind of material was used and do you have any pics of how it is mounted.

Default mounts

I had to custom make one out of alum. as I could not find anything to buy. I mounted the quick attach to remove the motor. If you are intersted I can take some pics.

i made some washer-and-rubber-bumper-stacks of different lengths to get the quick release plate to sit flat on my bow (including adding an extra hole or two in the plate); total jerry-rig but has worked great for 3 years now
cheers

You can order the plates through the Tracker parts dept at Bass pro.

The boat is a 17' open bow Glastron. I kinda figured it would have to be homemade. Triple threat i would definately like to see a pic or two. If anyone else has it or has seen it keep it coming. Thanks

Here is mine on 18.5 foot fiberglass. 3/8 aluminum cut to size, painted and shimmed so it's level. 3/4 plywood underneath for support.
