Biggest kid of the weekend, and an all around awesome guy! BBJ

and again, the whole point of the weekend. John you are one patient dude, that kid flew all the way across the country and you made his whole week, Im proud to call you my friend!

For those of you who didnt get to see the rest of the pics with the kids, Im a parent, and I dont think its my place to post pics of other peoples kids, no offense, if they want to share the pics thats their choice. It was an awesome weekend, and of all the gatherings Ive been too I think this was probably the best. Or close to it. Thanks again big time to everyone involved you are great people.

I had over 30 of them tailess, the pike down here like nipping them off to slow down the food I guess. I just take a rubber grub and melt the end with a lighter and stick it to the wildeye. Dont stick it to your fingers, right TJ?

Do you have to melt the wildeye as well or can you just melt the grub tail?

Default Return of the mutants

Trav I usually just light the wildeye tail, then blow it out and stick the grub in it. did a thread about it way back the first time I tried. Actually used the same one I outfished BBJ with again at Cow Lake monday and got some more pike til one of them stole the tail. I actually did so well with the mutant this weekend I ripped the original tail off a good wildeye to use the twister tail on it. Heres the thread I posted about them before
http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showt...ghlight=mutant
I decided I dont like the stinger hooks, at least the way I did them. screws up the action too much.
