Motorized boats in the bow

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if it was legal to use a boat and motor in the bow river? I was thinking of buying a boat or canoe and motor and not sure if there is really anywhere to take it.

I use a 15hp evinrude on a 14ft cartopper.Will run upriver with 3 people on board. Had a hard time with my original 10hp going upstream.Get a shortshaft model if possible.
