Default Painting Homemade Lures

Looking for suggestions on a good durable paint for painting homemade jigs. I'm not making gumball jigs, but something from "scratch" from random items I have around.

Has anyone used the Testors Enamel paint? http://www.testors.com/category/135894/Enamel_Paints
